Just got some closure

Well, I just got a text from my ex... .she said that she loves this guy a lot, and asked me to stop texting her and calling her, and she loves him a lot (said it twice) and that she doesn't want anything to get in the way of that, and that she doesn't want any of this to hurt me... .I guess I am thankful that she sent the text, because it can give me closure... .and my question is, is it normal to love somebody a lot after a month and a half?

Emotions - when I read your post, it made me think of a text that my ex sent me back on Christmas Eve 2015. She didn't mean to send it to me. It was one of those situations where you are in a text conversation with one person then get interrupted by another text and accidentally send a text to the "interrupter" that was intended for the original person that you were texting. Well, I was the interrupter and her boyfriend (who was supposedly a secret but wasn't) was the original conversation. She sent a text to me that was meant for him saying "I love you and love you and forever, blah, blah... ." The funny part is that I sent her a text back saying that evidently the text was meant for someone else and not me. She tried denying it by playing dumb so I sent a screenshot. She responded, "I didn't send that!" I figured that it would be best to quit there.
To answer your question, only my opinion, yes pwBPD can or think they can fall in love in a month and a half. That may even be a little on the long side. I'm glad you're in a place where you don't want to respond to her texts. Sounds like you've made it out of the FOG too.
