Welp,

I found out the ex got knocked up by some dude and to be honest I don't care. There's a bit of stinging and hurt but that's mostly ego. I knew it was going to happen from the last day I saw her  but I guess that dude is stuck with her and she with him. It was like the jolt I needed to launch me into "not caring mode". It's nice. I'll miss some of the memories and some of the fantasy that was us being a power couple and starting a family. But, now I'm completely free to invite new love into my life and hopefully be with someone who doesn't basically pretend to love me. Who doesn't keep me around like a drug-laden sweater because I make them feel good and then put me down when a better high comes a long. I'm done with that now.

And because of that I think I'll be taking a long hiatus from this site. Thank you to all the amazing admins and posters but coming here can sometimes be triggering and I'm ready to let any reminents of this women go and fade into the ether.

To all the folks that are stuck in the FOG and are waiting for sweet sweet indifference, it comes. Just keep doing you, and if you don't have kids with this kind of person even better. RUN away as far as you can and never look back. I can't stress that enough. My only regret in all this was wasting time and the better part of my youth chasing the love of a person who didn't really want me--although they were in a relationship with me, said some of the right things they didn't want me. Other than that it was fun but I can do with the emotional turmoil.

So good luck to you good people and hopefully I won't have to come back to  this site.
