CASA interesting update

The CASA gal called our son last night. Interesting change of events. From what I gather our S uBPDW went to T and told them the CASA gal reached out to our son and met with him. My DIL is much smarter (for lack of a better word) than I have given her credit for. So that T called the top dog of CASA and asked why this CASA gal was even speaking with our S when she is the CASA for his SD who he is not allowed to see. She was told she can't speak with our S anymore and was also told what to write in her report, that his W can provide a safe home etc for her D (DHS still has custody of his SD, although she still lives with her mom) From my understanding caseworkers for DHS have been shut down by upper management regarding our sons cases when they have tried to defend our son. So crookedness goes across the board on this. Now the funny part but not really funny, she told our son that there won't be a meeting between the 3 of them now. She said "I can see now that would never have worked" she said she even now feared what his w might do/ say since she said his w lied about things she supposedly said. All this time she has told our S not to be so fearful, and for me to step back and let our S fight this. Last night she said for our son and me to continue and fight this. Once CASA isn't SD Casa she will reach out to our son and help which should be by the end of Sept. Thank God, she got to experience my DIL's true self... .unfortunately... .first hand. So... .we carry on and continue to fight.

Thinking of you amidst this turmoil and pain. I keep my fingers crossed that truth prevails. But, be prepared for more twists and turns.

Wow, what a piece of work Your son's stbx will go after anyone and everyone. Well the CASA has now experienced it all first hand. I'm so glad she is seeing what is going on here hopefully more involved with your son's case will begin to see the light too. Hopefully they (DHS) are willing to see the light and not just cover their collective a$$es.
Hang in there,

It sounds like you are doing all you can. This is going to be a long hard battle. It is important to take time to look after yourselves to ensure you are in the best shape possible for the task in hand/ahead.
