It's been 1 1/2 years and I'm a wreak. I feel so trapped in this relationship. Last night I asked him to follow through on setting up couples counseling and he lost it again. It was HIS idea in the first place. He's jealous, suspicious, paranoid, controlling, aggressive and much more. We have a 29 year age gap between us too, which makes this even more complicated. I am 50 (female) and he's 21. He is demanding more from me than I have to give.
Is it possible to have a peaceful conversation about what "I" need with someone who has BPD? The only thing that matters to him is what "he" wants and needs. I have never dated anyone as needy as him in my life.
I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to end this relationship for my own health. I am not the happy, healthy woman I was 1 1/2 years ago. He will stalk me, and it will require a restraining order against him. He drove 20 miles last night to sit in front of my house to make sure I don't cheat on him. Somethings gotta change.
