I have a significant other with a previous diagnosis of BPD but also PTSD (non combat military). I'm looking for information regarding managing depression and anxiety for him. He's not currently open to medication, but would possibly reconsider with a good physician match.

Hi Marysdanish, welcome to the boards!  Can you tell us a bit more?  Do you have access to mental health care through the VA or through private insurance, or the ability to pay directly?  Do you already have experiences trying to get help from mental health professionals for your SO that have not worked out?

Hi Marysdanish,

Wentworth has already picked up one piece of this, but I want to pick up another, namely how are you doing? What has made you want to reach out at this time? Are you struggling to cope with the relationship as well? How is the BPD, PTSD, depression and anxiety of your partner affecting you?

wishing you well, pearlsw.
