Separation from BPD Spouse

I am currently separated from my BPD wife and need help
and support leaving and ending the relationship. This is the third time that she has gone into an extended hate stage where she has done great damage to our relationship and then ran off and gone into hiding for up to five months on the two prior occasions only to return and draw me back into the relationship. She has resorted to calling the police and making false allegations of domestic violence and taken my car keys and wallet or locking me out of the house and from my car keys and wallet to prevent me from leaving during her rages. After being locked out of the house and away from my wallet and packed bag for four hours on this latest incident, I suffered a spaghetti laceration to my wrist, cutting all major veins and arteries, nerves and tendons in my wrist trying to pop out a windowpane to get in the house to get my wallet so I could leave. I almost bled out and died, required a full blood infusion and major hand surgery, and will never have full use of my dominant hand again. I have been diagnosed with severe PTSD from all the emotional and at times physical abuse I have taken Felton her. There’s more, but suffice it to say that I want out, but am afraid that she will pull me back in like before.

Hi DustinWind83,
It sounds like you have been experiencing some terribly difficult things! I am concerned about how you are doing now. Where are you living? Are you under the same roof as your partner? Were the police involved after this incident? Have you contacted anyone in your area to discuss how to handle the domestic violence you are dealing with? Do you have any support for your PTSD?
take care, pearlsw.

Welcome
Sorry to hear that things have not been going well in your relationship. Have you talked to a lawyer about the DV accusations?
