Lately I havent been able to shake off the thought that I could have BPD? Maybe NPD?

Before I met my ex I didn’t even know what personality disorders were but now I’m beginning to think that maybe I am the disordered one... .

How common is this feeling amongst people who have dated cluster B’s?

P.s sorry I didn’t know where to post this

Hi Confusedpe -

You might want to check out this posting from a few years ago: https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=233903.0

Sometimes the "fleas" are pretty deep, especially for empaths and codependents who take on other people's energy.

I hope this helps!

What is making you think you may have a PD?

One person having a PD does not necessarily exclude the other having a PD. For instance NPD and BPD people tend to be drawn to each other. We have an article on THe Narcissist-Borderline Couple .

At the same time, as risingup4 noted sometimes we can slip in to BPD type behavior because it's what we experience in our relationship.
