Ex Boyfriend Recently Diagnosed with BPD and threatens hurting himself.

I was in a relationship with my ex-boyfriend for about a year. Towards the end of the relationship he was diagnosed with BPD. We broke up a little over a month ago. He now does not have the money to afford his copay for therapy. He and I still talk. However, recently he has been talking about killing himself and feeling hopeless. I urged him to seek help. He says there is no point and says that the only reason he doesn't kill himself is because he knows it would hurt me. I have called his roommates and they took the guns out of his house, and his parents know he is depressed and needs help but they will not support him. I need help knowing how to help and what I can do. I feel like boundaries are consistently getting broken, but I feel lost trying to help him and make sure he is safe, while still trying to move on and be healthy.
