Life coaches for BPD?

Hi, I am new to this site and excited that I have found it. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with finding a life coach for someone with BPD?

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

I am a certified executive and organizational coach.  Part of our certification process is focused on differentiating someone who is "coachable" from some who has a mental or emotional situation that requires therapy.

Coaching starts with the premise that the person is whole and has life or work situations that can be improved upon. 

I don't see someone who is a certified coach working with a person who needs therapy.

I would not accept a client coaching contract if I knew it was to work with someone who had been diagnosed with a mental condition and was looking for coaching to improve it.

Welcome to our community. I'm also looking for a life coach for my 29 yr daughter, 3 years to recovery - where she is right now.   I'm talking with my sister who works in the field. How old is your child, do they live with you, what challenges do they have?
