Hello! My hubby was diagnosed with BPD last fall. He is in therapy and attending DBT classes. I just recently located an in person support group that meets monthly. I feel overwhelmed at times. I become mentally and emotionally exhausted. 8 wind ago a huge disclosure was made and my life was completely changed. Hoping to find support and advice here.
Thank you!

Hi LJhopeful4today and welcome!
Living with a pwBPD (person with BPD) can indeed be overwhelming and emotionally exhausting on a daily basis. It sounds like you and your husband are ahead of the game in terms of his DBT and your support group. Good for both if you!
You will absolutely find a supportive community here! bpdfamily has saved my life. My first suggestion would be to start reading / posting on other members threads to get yourself seen and gain some context on your own situation.
What BPD traits does your husband have and has the DBT helped yet? Are you comfortable to talk about the talk more about the disclosure and how it has impacted your life?
Sending you strength,

Welcome! That is fantastic that your husband is in DBT and you have found an in-person support group! You are extremely fortunate -- those are real signs for hope -- but I understand how exhausting it all can still be!
How long has your husband been in DBT? What aspects of your current situation do you find the most overwhelming?
