This stuff gets completely overwhelming at times. I haven’t eaten today. I’m hungry and I miss my Son. I’m worrying. I read a post that prompted some very familiar feelings in me. Hostility and wanting to let it loose. Sometimes, we just need to take a breath. In and out and pay attention to it. To realize that breathing is as much of a life force as water.

We can’t let this crap overwhelm us anymore, and when it does we need our friends. Maybe our friends out there can absorb a little, but our friends here can absorb a lot. I’m posting this because I’m thinking about another member.

Breathing is one of the tools in our toolbox to use, JNChell. I'm glad you remembered to do this.

Sometimes it can also help to take a look at what may have triggered you. You know what it is from what you said, and once those emotions have settled down (it may take a couple of days of breathing and letting your emotions settle), then it is a good opportunity to sit with yourself and think, or talk it over with your T. These are things that help me too.

Yes. Breathe.

JNChell your positive energy is felt by many. I’m certain the member you care for feels that on some level. Sometimes it just takes time. Sending you love, smiles, gentle hugs and hopeful thoughts. You are awesome little brother.
