Hello

I am a mother of a 22 year old man who hasn’t accomplished anything
Other than high school. My husband is extremely depressed about him
Seems to us that everything that he touch or comes in contact with turns south. He is a drogatic, opposition defiant, angry angry person, deceiving, impulsive. From time to time he becomes human but the next day he is back to sleeping all day, doing drugs and or angry and depress. He has girlfriends but he is not stable with them. Refuses to go to therapy. My husband and I want to desapear

Hello Yaz  Welcome new member (click to insert in post), welcome to bpdfamily.

I'm glad you've reached out for support here, we understand the heavy load you feel right now, many of us have been in similar situations, it's overwhelming, you are not alone.   Change starts with us, there is hope, it's small steps.

Is your son living with you at home?

Hello Yaz

I would like to join wendydarling in welcoming you here

I am so sorry to hear of what you are going through with your 22 year old son, it must be extremely frustrating and difficult for you.

You say that your son refuses to go to therapy, does that mean that he has received a BPD diagnosis?

What about your husband? You say that he is extremely depressed about your son, has he sought any help?

There are lots of resources here that you can use to help you in communicating with your son, you will find them to the right  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post)

Hope to hear more from you Yaz x
