Well she successfully pushed me over the edge.

My BPD Mom couldn't have cared less how I was feeling with attending double funeral today she starting lying/being manipulative about Christmas plans.

I haven't spoken to her for a week.

She took it upon herself to call the hotel we reserved and lied that they said we cancelled the room.

She was going to 'decorate and put a tree up.' She went on to say oh he seemed new I haven't heard his voice before - the front desk who answered.

I cancelled the room this morning after the entire charade of drama. I even called her out and said I don't know why you would think I would lie. Well come on I haven't spoken to you in a week left it on bad terms and you are trying to 'guilt' me!

Can't do it anymore. Between her and my daughter I need to escape.

what was the plan... .were all of you staying in a hotel together, your mom included?

your mom called the hotel you had reserved... .did she cancel it, or did she tell you they cancelled it?

where was she wanting to put the tree up?

You never know when the complete lack of empathy and the total self centeredness that your mother with BPD demonstrates just feels like the last straw and something you can't tolerate anymore. Your challenge is to express your feelings and get to a point where you don't get so upset by her behavior which is a tall order, because we all expect to be loved and cared for by our mothers. What have you done in the past when your mother has left you feeling emotionally overwhelmed by her behavior that has helped? You are doing one of the most important things right now in sharing your feelings and thoughts with us.
