Hello. My younger of two sons was diagnosed with NO recently. Of course I read about it right away. I am a health care professional. What I discovered is that I have surrounded myself with borderlines. My husband was the start. My older son too. I was going to take care of my husband and keep him safe and my reward was goo g to be his intense love. Luckily, I knew my older son was going to be trouble very early and I spent a lot of time with him teaching him how to deal with his emotions. He had a strong desire to be independent. He is 25 and lives many states away from us and is doing "OK". My younger son seemed fine until college. He doesn't have the coping skills and work arounds. He moved back home before graduating. He is miserable and angry. My husband can't deal with him and now hubby' s behavior is severe. It feels like I have to choose between them. My husband is threatening suicide.

I know I tried to put too many ideas in the above. Bottom line is that I have dealt pretty well with my husband, we have been married 31 years. I just don't know how to be there for both my husband and my son.
