I did not do anything for my mother for Mother's Day and she probably did not notice as her memory is pretty impaired. What did you do and how do you feel about it? What do you think you might do for next year's Mother's Day? Any thoughts about Father's Day which is coming up soon?

Hi zachira,
I was at home reading a book I did call my mother to wish her Happy Mother's Day. Don't know what I'll do next year, 2020 will actually be the 10 year 'anniversary' of my uBPD mom and sis joint Witch Attack on Mother's Day. Yeah that was something back then...time flies.
How are you doing?

Kwamina,
Nice to hear from you. I am doing much better as I adapt to the fact that my mother and both siblings with BPD and NPD will never change. I have gone LC with all of them and moving forward. I did not call mom on Mother's Day because I didn't feel like it, and did not feel guilty about not doing so. Thank you for all your support in the most difficult of times, which are hopefully more in the past.

Same for me. My mom didn't know who we were when I last saw her in January. With or without the kids, I could have driven 2.5 hours last Sunday (or Saturday) to see her. I didn't.
