Clinical research participants needed:
Would you like to share your story about having an African American mother with borderline personality disorder?

When: Until July 1, 2019

Objective: To gain insight into how African American mothers with a BPD diagnosis directly influenced how their adult daughters view and form close relationships.  

This research could aid mental health professionals in understanding how mothers with an Axis II Cluster B emotional dysregulation disorder like BPD affect the attachment patterns and relationship experiences of their adult daughters.

Participation Audio-recorded telephone interview for 60 minutes. All information will be confidential and be used only for the purposes of this study.

Eligibility to Participate
      • Mother diagnosed with BPD by a medical professional
• Be resident of any part of the United States of America
• Be an African American woman between the ages of 18 and 45

Compensation: As a token of appreciation for participating in this study, you will be given a Starbucks, Target or Amazon e-Gift card worth $10.00

This sounds like a really important study. The university has agreed to share its findings with us.
