So long story short ..
I was abused and neglected as a child and teen . However now as a an adult I have been diagnosed with bpd .. like I’m So ashamed  that I have this issue and sad because of what I went through to get it .. on top of this other stuff . Feeling really  PLEASE READty , had I had a better childhood this could have been prevented possibly . How do I cope with this no one understands and thinks all I want is attention which is so far from the truth
Thanks for reading ,

I am very sorry to hear that things are so difficult for you right now, but it is great to see you reaching out for help and support - a very brave and scary thing to do!

This site is a support group for those who are or were in a relationship with a person with BPD, so many of the posts can be triggering to a BPD sufferer. There are resources of the type you're seeking. Please check out Resources for BPD Sufferers.

That said, if you want to explore your childhood abuse we do have a parent, Sibling and In-Law board that is open for those members who want to work on their relationship with a person with BPD (pwBPD).
