Hi, i texted during last week and he was grumpy, it was a Friday. The reason he gave me because he was grumpy, because i texted at the wrong time! Apparently it was the wrong time because he had a bad back and was hobbling home, was in pain and had had a bad week at work so far, so he was in a black mood. Yes i was meant to know all this! I just listened and bid him goodnight when hed finished.

The day after he called me, i think to make sure i was ok and was still talking to him. So we had a good chat then. I asked him if it was possible to look at booking a holiday when he is finished this 3 months of work, he would certainly need it. He said yes and to send him some details. Over the last few days ive looked and sent him some quotes, but he never replied. Today, I texted the usual hello and general chitchat and then asked if hed received my emails about the holiday. He said he had but that was it. I asked him what he thought and he just said, im not sure when my work finishes, (it was 16th Sept the other day!) and that he could not discern anything from the information id sent him (it had hotels, flights, travel information, pictures etc). I know he has to check with his work, but he is entitled to holidays. He gets excited about it one time and then not the other, related to his moods and tiredness, i can gather. I didnt press the issue, he will either want to go or not. He is non committal in a lot of things, and this is another area. He does not like to commit to things a way off, i gather that is his bpd thinking something might go wrong, i dont know. Does anyone have any ideas of how i could try and persuade him to commit to this holiday, i have asked for his input, so we can compromise, one of the things he says that i dont do, but his interest in the holiday changes every time i talk to him.
