Just throwing a poem I wrote during painful period out there. Never shared this

Occasionally I play guitar and attempt to throw down some lyrics.
So this is something I came up w in the midst of my divorce from BPD ex wife.
In case many of you can relate, just figured I would throw it out there. 

zapped

I'm so tired of being alone
In this house of cards, not even a phone
She pulled that cord, bout a year ago
Wrapped it around my neck, till my heart slowed, than broke
Weak on my knees, I beg her to stop
She takes another pill to feel she's on top
Numbing from the pain she feels inside
I wonder what she really felt when she became my bride
No remorse, never wrong, not capable of inspection
Her smile you'll see when she notices her reflection
Like an infamous German she'll plan her destruction
Attracting suppliers hypnotized by her devious seductions
It's been a long road but I now see the truth
I was part of the action, became long in the tooth
My sense of self gone, but not completely forgotten
Time to forge a new path. Perhaps head up to Austin.
This story's not over, more to unfold.
Pay attention to what's important. After all, it's my soul.
