About the BookThis book is mainly for Christian's who struggle with difficult romantic relationships.
Dan Allender suggests that we’ve come to view love as being “nice,” yet the kind of love modeled by Jesus Christ has nothing to do with manners or unconditional acceptance. Allender contends that it is actually disruptive, courageous, and socially unacceptable.
Far from helping people “get along” with others, Allender introduces the outlandish possibility of making a significant, life-changing impact on family, friends, coworkers―even your enemies. Allender discusses forgiveness, maturity, and seeing others through Jesus’ eyes.
In his text, the author integrates psychology with theology. Like many books of this type, there are claims that the theology does not always line up with correct Biblical doctrine. Amazon readers gave the book a 4.3 (ona scale of 5). Good Reads readers rated it 4.27
