Anyone dealing with a LO with BPD and dementia?  DH is active alcoholic, strong BPD characteristics (no diagnosis), many health problems as a result of not taking care of Type II DM diagnosed 16 yrs ago and now has signs that lead me to believe he at least has a cognitive disorder if not already early dementia.  It is so darn sneaky though that sometimes I think I am the crazy one (his alcoholism and probable BPD have told me I am the crazy one for years - LOL)  Any insights would be helpful.

DH's  mother died of Alzheimers so I haven't shared my suspicions with him because he was horrified by what happened to her and I don't know how he will deal with a potential diagnosis.  I am exhausted trying to deal with it all at this point.  I used an alzheimers online support group when his mom was still alive as I was her primary care giver the last year of her life.  I have posted about this there, but since we don't have a dementia diagnosis, it is hard to know what to share.
