Hello. I discovered this place today. My relationship has been deteriorating since getting married, and even more since couple's therapy. Talking to a friend about my husband's most recent inpatient drama lead her to tell me about BPD and online support forums. I'm only 24 and can't believe this is what my life is like now. God bless.

Hi and welcome!  No worries about posting on the wrong board.  We got ya!  I moved the thread here to the Bettering board so you can read and learn about some of the tools we offer here that can help you cope better and maybe improve things at least at your end.

I hope you settle in and read and post.  We all share and work together to help each other get to a better place.  And yes, things can get better.

Can you share some more details about what is going on?  What happened that caused your husband to be hospitalized?  What do you struggle the most with?

As you get comfortable, I hope you share more.

Again Welcome

Hi, I am experiencing a similar situation with my significant other. She was recently hospitalized after I attempted to ask for some space and it led her to a suicidal episode. I want you to know you're not alone and its nice to see someone else in a situation with similar aspects to mine.  Hang in there.  Virtual hug (click to insert in post)
