A year has gone by already

Just popping in to say hi as I realised today it’s been over a year since I last heard from my friend. I sent my final email to him on 10th July 2019 and him on 11th.
I very occasionally think about how he is doing but mostly its fleeting. I don’t sit and ruminate or have any urges to contact him at all and I haven’t reached out to him since my email last year. I I didn’t even respond to the email he sent me the following day as I didn’t feel there was anything to gain by it. I’ve had a few questionable withheld numbers or calls from numbers that when you search them up don’t yield any information. But other than that, nothing.
Isn’t it funny how you can be so entangled at one stage and couldn’t be further apart now.
Hope you’re all doing well in these crazy times..

It sounds like you really managed to move on from this friend. I think that is a really great thing for you!
