VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Close insult your attorney as to what your options are for serving, when she refuses to answer the door.

In general, there was lots of vague talk about "blowing my life up," and how I'm going to wake up in a world where the only thing keeping her alive is a desire to get "justice."

sigh.

I'm not really surprised but still... sigh.

Cat and Redeemed are right.   as you change your response to her and her meltdowns it will feel weird at first.   it will feel uncomfortable.   even triggering in a different way.  being willing to lean into that discomfort is important.

hang in there.
