I'm so confused.  I am recovering from the typical BPD, may not ever "walk" without an emotional "limp".  In continued research (always looking for a better way) I discovered my spouse of 35 years is BPD/NPD.  I DO see that he needs love and support but I feel like I am threatening my own recovery in trying to help him see what is going on.  I DO NOT want to hurt him or cause further injury; at the same time I wonder exactly how much I am expected to endure in an effort to help another.  I am SO tired...any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.  I don't doubt his love for me and at the same time I do NOT doubt his hatred for me or his "accounts" of how I deserve whatever injury he deems fit in the moment.   Paragraph header  (click to insert in post)

Hi there,

Just replying and echoing what Once just said...

Maybe two sets of eyes (ears) are better than one. 35 years is a long time to be carrying stuff.

Lot's of experience here.
