Hi, I have been in a relationship for 6 years and in the last year signs of BPD have really developed to the point where my wife has abandoned me (hopefully temporarily). It seemed to spiral so quickly to the point where any effective or real communication is rare. She expresses her love to me and I know she misses me (her words) so I do have hope. DBT seems to be a possible solution but I first have to get her to admit she has BPD. Meanwhile I feel a support group would be beneficial in me learning how best to effectively communicate and relate to my wife. Thank You - Lapis

Hi and welcome
You're in good company.
Others' posts here may be helpful as is the Tips menu at the top of the page.
What signs make you think it's BPD? Can you share a recent experience?

Welcome, Lapis! You will find yourself among people who have indeed shared your experiences, if you are married to someone with BPD.
I'll add a suggestion, that you look at the books listed under the "Tools" menu at the top of the page. There are several that can be extremely helpful.
And as Jabiru says, if you care to share specifics, that will give us more of a handle on what's been happening.
