Pardon for a separate thread but I thought it might be humorous to look back at some silly rages our SOs did.

I'll start.

This past Saturday, after the wedding, we came back to the hotel, jumped into bed and she switched on SNL she wanted to see. She was tipsy and passed out on my shoulder as soon as we finished our junk food.

5 minutes passed, she was passed out to the point of snoring. So, I switched off the TV so that it didnt bother her. Gave her some time, gently woke her up and went "Hey babe, you might wanna jump out of your dress. You also wanted to take a shower before bed."

She looked up and went - "WHY DID YOU SWITCH OFF SNL, I WANTED TO WATCH SNL!" I literally thought to myself "What the actual Bullet: comment directed to __ (click to insert in post)#$&?" but said out loud "Babe, you were passed out for good 10 minutes, I didn't want it to bother you." She jumped out of the bed, angrily took off her dress, went to the bathroom to take a shower.

10-15 minutes later came out, STILL fuming. "I am SO ANGRY at you right now! I wanted to watch SNL!" I was looking at all that like - "This is the silliest thing I've ever seen" I literally have never seen an adult to be so enraged over a switched off TV show. But she kept on going. I silently switched on the TV, changed channels to SNL, rolled over and passed out.

That was our only "fight". Next day nothing was mentioned. I wanted to bring it up, but it seemed so silly, I figured it was too trivial to waste our breath on. I was for all intents and purposes dumped the next day and officially "informed" a couple of days later.

It didn't make any sense whatsoever when it happened, we never fought before that. Not even close. But now... It makes a whole lot of sense.

Crazy crazy stuff.

I have a few I can share:

A. Got dumped because I said I couldn't give her a ride to work (when I had promised to previously) because the ride time was conflicting with my work.

B. Forgetting her birthday (on the second date) which she had told me on the first date.

C. Rage because I asked her if we were in a relationship "on the wrong weekend".

D. Rage because I ran out to the store to get sugar whilst she was in an Uber (should have waited until she got there).

E. Failing to text her good morning before 9am.

F. Falling asleep during an extremely long movie.

G. Talking to my mother when she needed to speak to me (about someone she hated at work).

Almost all of the rages were silly and either didn't need to happen or could have been dealt with without rage.

Felt cathartic writing that all out!
