Child of BPD Parent looking for recs on Therapy Modalities

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site so excuse me if this information is listed and I haven't found it yet. I grew up with my mother who has BPD. We stopped talking about 8 years ago and I'm hoping to find some input on resources that have been helpful to others. I both am working through the trauma I experienced and often wonder whether I can ever have a healthy relationship with her again.

I have done about a year of traditional talk therapy but felt like I hit a wall so have been exploring other modalities. I've heard good things about CBT, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, EFT Tapping, and Hypnotherapy generally and am wondering if anyone here has tried any of these therapies (or others not listed here) and felt like they helped a good deal.

Side note: I've purchased Stop Walking on Eggshells so am already doing some reading on my own.
