It’s been almost 7 weeks since she split

Hi. My partner last split on me while she was in private psychiatric care, perceiving that a social media post I made was directed at her. The last thing she said to me was that I have no idea how much I’ve damaged her heart, mental health, live and trust for her with my post and that she needs space.. Since then I have been blocked on all platforms and cut off as a contact from the facility.
I am struggling to get by every day. I don’t fully understand why she has done this and feel abandoned myself. They say it’s meant to get easier but I feel this is just getting harder every day, no matter how much self care I initiate. Is this the final discard?

I’m in the same boat basically. 8 weeks ago I was blocked and nothing since. It does get easier and I think it’s due to the anti depressants I started 3 weeks ago and the 10 or so therapy sessions I have had. The anti depressants have made me feel less pain.

I have also been implementing self care to an extent I never thought of before. I’ve booked a holiday to Bali, I’m getting laser rejuvenation, car detailing, and reconnecting with old friends.

I changed my researching and thinking to focus on why I dodged a bullet rather than trying to win back/what ifs/what I’m missing out on. And I think I’m finally coming to terms with that. Talk to your friends about the psychotic bull_____, the weird behaviours and red flags you ignored. I’ve talked a lot and they are confirming everytime that I have infact dodged a bullet.
