Hello- I am in a family of all BPD's.  I have been in therapy for 20 years trying to cope and deal with this family.  I feel best when I am no contact.  Somehow they keep coming back into my life.  I am finally ready to not feel horrible all the time.  I know I need to reach out more and see that I am not alone.  I finally see it all clearly.  No amount of love or understanding or forgiveness helps them.  I basically have to be an observer and live my own life and give up the dream that any of them will ever be different.  I will never understand people who hurt other people and never take responsibility, feel remorse, apologize, and then do better.  I will stop tryin to understand.  Sometimes you can't understand things and have to accept them.  Hugs to all of you that deal with BPD in your life.
