I want to thank Cat Familiar for opening my eyes to this. There it is, spelled out clearly. This is what we survivors are left with to deal and why the struggle is so difficult. Before I read this today I was feeling so conflicted and still reeling between moving on and wanting to turn back. I am seeking that return that rewards all the kindness and love I bestowed. That little bit of hope. Now I understand it, why I’m drawn backwards in thinking. I’ve read a couple of different articles on this topic but all basically the same information. Knowing this info is helping me to focus attention not only on what needs fixing, I find myself now researching MY disorder, not my partners. I find this a very valuable assets to our healing. ( I don’t know how bad off of have been if not for this site/Bpd family. I am eternally grateful)
