I would like for some kind of literature to share with my husband about how to proceed in relationship with his ex (suspected BPD).  He thinks that it can be like a regular "friendship", but I believe that that is unreasonable, that additional boundaries should be put in place, not just the ones that he has for his other friendships.  :)oes anyone have any ideas for where I can read up on that?

Hello!

Here are some Workshops that he might find interesting:

Karpman Triangle

Five Stages of Grieving a Relationship

Contact After the Breakup

Being "friends" after a Breakup

There are a lot of other good resources here too, but that should get you started.  Before he emarks on this friendship, he needs to make sure he is detached from the prior relationship and won't get sucked into the drama and dysfunction.

Hope this helps.
