"It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma."
-Winston Churchill 1939
He was talking about Russia at the time, but I've been thinking of it lately and it seems like what many of us are going through. I've heard this quote most of my life, but this r/s with a pwBPD (undiagnosed, but c'mon) helps me understand it more. You can never get to the bottom of this. No matter how many layers we peel back, there are always more. No matter how hard we look, we won't be able to see it all. You might get all zen with your FOO, and good for you, it's probably better, but there's no end to the questions, the loss, the pain. No one here has really figured this out, have they? Or a cure? We're just guessing, collating facts, judging, walking away. It's said the intensity fades with time and effort. Some of us even (try to) let go of letting go. Accepting it keeps going/never ends.
