Haha... .well I try. They say that when you are sad, you should do something for someone else who is sadder than you. Seeing as I am a prisoner in my office at the moment, this forum is the best I can do.

One time we broke up in the spring (we had a lot of breakups- countless), I bought a big big canvas and about 4 colors of acrylic paint. I am not an artist, but I painted a huge, abstract Phoenix... .to somewhat symbolize my rebirth. I don't know if it worked. It makes me a little depressed now looking at it, but I can always throw it away or paint over it. But it was therapeutic for me in the moment.

Music helps me a lot too. I have a Phoenix playlist on spotify where I put songs that help me be sad, angry, or say goodbye. I have about 40 songs on there... .and sometimes I pump it up in the car. Something about that makes me feel better... .or at least lets me sing/scream/yell at the top of my lungs and get it all out. It's better than the love songs anyway.

I think this time around I am going to travel more. I really really want more stamps in my passport. I really want to see the world. I can't afford to... .but somehow I am going to make it happen.
