I went to have my driver's license renewed... .I just moved into a new apartment this weekend. I downsized from a two bedroom to a one bedroom. When the house sold, I chose a two bedroom thinking my husband would get it together and move home with me. How stupid was I? Luckily for me, that did not happen and I was able to move down the hall to a lesser expensive place. One he has never been to!  I went today to update my drivers license and happily had a new photo taken. The one I had before was when I had 25 more pounds on and it looked like a mug shot! Literally, I had a major frown on my face. It was awful! The one today I must say, looks so much better! The woman taking the picture was amazed how much better I looked. I told her it was due to my pending divorce, Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)... .A picture is worth a thousand words... .I can tell by my pictures lately that I look much happier. The gf is starting to take on the look that I once had... .that fearful, tired, shocked, I can't believe he just did that look... .How about you... .have you seen how you look in pictures lately?

Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)  no, but the mirror says enough  Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)  I haven't been to the hairdressers for 7 months. Not able to for the past 5.5 months. So I look like a scarecrow. I haven't lost any weight but gained as I've been lying around for months instead of using muscles. Apparently my wonderful new scary pills are likely to make me go off food and have a risk of people becoming anorexic. I have noticed I'm not very hungry today. It's fine, I can loose some of my horizontally gained pounds.

Maybe going to the hairdressers should be my next goal. Just for a cut though, I can't sit long enough for any colouring or any fancy stuff.

Wonderful to read you are doing so well Herodias!

You know, you could always have this picture 'blown up' to full size and hang it proudly on the walls of your new home...

Thanks WoundedBibi, I go up and down in feelings, but today I was happy to get rid of that old picture. Embarrassing to have to show! I didn't have my hair colored or cut on that picture either, so I understand. Go ahead and get your hair done, take care of yourself... .You will feel so much better believe me. We have to take care of ourself. I look at it like how we took care of our exes... .we need to treat ourselves as good as or better than we treated them. I did everything for him and he came first... .no more!

Oh my, yes! The difference in my pictures is amazing.

I sent a picture to one of my friends and he commented that the difference since stbx has been out of the house is stunning.

Even my kids have recently commented on how much different I look and act since he has been out of the house. So much more peaceful and relaxed.
