Thank you Pearl for kindly encouraging me to post this:

Just signed on for today. Its been a real struggle this week and i cant wait to see my therapist. A month is to long to go with out. I dont have insurance either. Frankly, im scared of being stuck and im scared to move forward. Every therapist has told me that i need to leave and i thought the validation of them telling me that, would make it way easier but even after having 4 differnt ones tell me the exact same thing, i am scared to death haha.
thanks

Hi Paintball4Life,  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Four therapists told you to leave? Wow. Did they know much about BPD? Try to help you at all with working with it? (Sounds like that is what you wanted to try.)

What scares you? What do you want to do? Does working on the relationship a bit more feel right to you in your gut?

What's going on this week?

I hear ya! Both being stuck and contemplating moving forward paralyze me at times!

warmly, pearl.

ello. so much to say, so little time. I will log into the forums tomorrow with a response to your questions.

all 4 therapists are very familiar with BPD, they specialize in personality disorders. BUT the reason they all said what they said, they have all noticed that after 7 years of helping me, even the energy medicine therpist said the same thing to me, they have all noticed she does not want any help from anyone, and is not in the relationship for healthy purposes. I have been the only one in therapy, cbt group, cbt skills, and others, for the last 7 years. She has been 4 times to a therapist, and a few times to a energy medicine group.

i will answer more later

thnak you

Hey Paintball4Life,

Okay, got it! You have really put in a lot of effort in therapy! Kudos to you for working so hard! Seven years. Whew!

So, what is the reason, as far as you know, for her being in this relationship? This "unhealthy reason"?

take care, pearl.
