Break ups when you both have PD?

Hi,

breaks ups are tough on every party involved but what happens when you both have personality disorders?

I am BPD amongst other things there is a spectrum obviously and im pretty self aware and get treated , but my ex partner also has a personality disorder so its pretty difficult to navigate the break up.

has anyone been through anything similar and can offer any advice please?

I’m sorry for the circumstances that led you to the forums here but I’m glad that you decided to join us. I have been treated fir depressed and I have panic and anxiety disorders. I’m speaking for myself I just have mood disorders but not a PD.
