Hi,

My significant other and I broke up. I have a close family member with the same but higher functioning BPD. I miss my ex but is it possible to have a fulfilling relationship with someone who is lower functioning BPD? Can they get better? Is it worth it in the long run to have kids with them like this?

If you want to look at some other peoples’ stories about marriage and kids with a BPD partner, check out the Conflicted/Divorce Board  https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?board=10.0

Having children with a BPD partner is a decision not made lightly.
