Hello everyone. I joined this site several moths ago but this is the first time I have been able to get on to read and to post. My husband has BPD and it is becoming increasingly difficult. We have been married for 25 years. He was first diagnosed with Bipolar about 10 years ago. I always knew there was more to it than that. In my own research in the past year or so I stumbled upon the symptoms of BPD. He fits every singly one to a T. We consulted with his Psychologist and he agreed. Getting treatment has been difficult. I am trying to find him a new therapist since the one he had clearly does not know what someone with BPD needs. I have read Stop Walking on Eggshells which referred me to this group, and Stop Caretaking the Borderline or Narcissist. Any other reading suggestions for dealing with a BPD spouse are most welcome. I am very happy to be here. Off to read posts now!
