Hello everyone. Just found out my now ex gf cheated on me with her ex and discarded me. I'm completely devastated. All I had in this world were her and my mom. I've never had anyone do anything this cruel to me and I was so good to her. She completely isolated me from my friends and family. I have nobody to talk to as I live in the middle of nowhere. I'm really trying to be strong but I'm crushed. Its all I can do to keep myself together I feel like I'm having a mental breakdown

We'll talk to you...

How did it go down and what led you to BPD?

Being cheated upon is brutal, and I'm sorry. My ex was in innaproprate contact with her ex, the One Love of her life when we were dating. Then she cheated and left after we had children (different guy). No one should have to go through these things. You're in good company here.

Thank you so much. I found out about it because she got drunk and accidentally mentioned it as she was leaving. I found this place as I was trying to make sense of what was going on because I was completely shocked and confused. Thank you so much for the response

I'm pretty far from ok. My next steps are trying to prevent an anxiety attack.

It is okay to be pretty far from OK. This is normal in your situation. Trust me we all get it here. Do what you can do to continue doing things you like to do. Make sure to eat, sleep, workout, etc. Even if your workouts are nothing special...go for walks...just stay active. The point is to do the things that will help keep stress (cortisol) at bay. Plus you are going to have to keep your mind busy so it doesn't hone in on what happened to you and then you ruminate even more.

Please continue to vent and share here. In the meantime please be kind to YOU and take care of yourself. Welcome to fam...you are among friends here.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Cheers and best wishes!

Hi crossfire27va,

Welcome, you’ve found the right place as Turkish said we’re all here to listen and talk to each other.

I’ve been not ok too. One thing that has been helping me is walking meditation. I thought meditating wasn’t for me but it’s really helped me with anxiety and preventing panic attacks. I recommend the app 10percent happier to get started. They have courses on anxiety. The mindfulness really helps.

It’s ok to not be ok but you will be little by little. I’m sorry this happened to you.
