How to communicate after a contentious divorce... Following a contentious divorce and custody battle, there are often high emotion and tensions between the parents. The children sense their parents anxiety in their voice, their body language and their parents behavior. Here are some suggestions from Dean Stacer on how to avoid conflict.

My ex sent me an email, I didn't even read it because the first thing that came to my head is why would my ex fiance who cheated on me last year and left me then to end up pregnant by another guy possibly want with her discarded trash? Nothing good I assume, don't know what it said and don't care. Whatever it was it wasn't a way to turn back time and go back to the happy days when we were together and I was somewhat happy so therefore there is nothing in this world I want to hear from that evil woman. I am proud of myself for having the strength to delete it and not even read it   Smiling (click to insert in post)

Good for you! Wish i was as strong... .

I last heard from my uBPDxGF on xmas eve after a long and

tulmultuous series of recycles since the last break up 9/1/12... . until last night... . i had sent her a couple scattered texts in the last four months with zero response... . she even ignored my bday in March... . then last night she texts me and asks me if im watching our favorite Monday night CBS tv show with my son... . thats it... . one sentence what am I watching on TV... . After FOUR months of silence! What the heck!

I was in shock when i saw her name on my phone... . I instictively (I guess) responded... . 'yes and we had pizza slices too" ... . every Monday night we dated she came to my house we watched the same shows ate the same pizza and she slept over. SOO weird how

she asked me that. First peep Ive heard from her in 2014. Not a word today either way.

I wish I was Chuckstrong but im just not... . so like I said ---Good for you! Stay strong nothing good can come from these people/relationships... . Not now not ever... .

Give yourself time and you will be able to ignore her like nothing. My ex ignored my bday in November and I did the same to her in December. Stay no contact, that is the best way and it secretly eats them alive  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

I'd have been tempted to read it.  I'd hate to delete something that said she was gonna be in town soon and planned on stopping by or something.  I'd make sure I was not home, or extra careful about checking the peep hole at the door when someone knocked, etc.  Wouldn't respond, but I'd be afraid of ignoring some kind of information I needed to know.
