VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

My extreme uBPDexH has brought me much horror and long-overdue peace.  The horror arrived when my ex's demons surfaced and his character traits fall solidly between Sociopath and Psychopath.  The peace arrived when I can compare him to my uBPD mother and for the first time in my life look back and know she was a broken BPD though and through, totally emotionally unprepared to deal with the world.  I have compassion for my mother like never before.

I found the words below in an article and wanted to share:

What we call something doesn't matter. There is one undeniable truth about predators: if we refuse to see them while we still have a chance, we'll never see them coming later—when we don't.

Yes, personally I think the BPD shares far too much with psychopathy for us to really treat them that different.

Psychopaths will create a blueprint for constructing a mirror-perfect soulmate persona and then, they claim you... .same as BPDs.

Psychopaths will lie and manipulate and abuse and feel no empathy, same as BPDs.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. You were able to connect your uBPDh back to your past. I think you see things differently when you start to work on yourself and see the reasons why we can fall into these terrible r/s's. It opens your eyes. A quote from Anaïs Nin.

“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are"
