Me and my Ex finally talked about everything

If you've seen any of my other posts you'll know I've gone through a pretty bad break up about 3 months ago.
Today we talked about it properly for the first time like we probably should have done back then. We both explained how we feel and why she broke up with me. While I no doubt expect her BPD influenced stuff, she seemed rational, caring and understanding. I've begun doubting how much of her actions are due to the BPD like I expected. We seem to be back on some sense of speaking terms and if this in anyway made the situation worse, it's that it reminded me how great she is.
While there were things I didn't want to hear, I feel more released from the pain of confusion, bitterness and anger. I'm still sad but now from just a sense of loss which is hopefully a better point to jump off from.

Borderlines can seem quite lucid even rational at times. It's part of their survival mechanism. Don't be fooled by it! And don't start to question yourself. Someone is either BPD or not, they can't be "sort of" BPD.

Yeah Ive seen that can be true, as you may have seen I have a thread call "seems I spoke to soon" where her BPD nature became more clear the next day
