Hi all
My 48 year old daughter first had a breakdown nearly 5 years ago which resulted in her voluntary accepted going into a secure unit. On her discharge notes on the bottom was written traits of BPD.
She was eventually discharged from seeing her psycarist  into gp care. She was  stable for a while but we all noticed changes over the last year and had to be very careful what we said. Just before the new year her husband came to see us saying he could no longer take how she is, obviously things were a lot worse than we realized as he is very placid, he is still with her. To cut a long story short she is now verbally attacking me and my husband and my friends and her 25 yr old daughter with outrageous statements. She has cut us off and will not communicate with us. She is also drinking to excess and taking her medication as well, and getting in her car and driving to the shops. She thinks everyone is against her.
We obviously want to help her but do not want to make thing worse for her as our fear is that she could overdose again when her husband is at work.
Can anyone please advise me what I should do next?

Hi Acerlady,

Welcome to our online family!

Do you know if she has returned to any type of T or would consider it once again? Any idea what the triggers are that has caused her to spiral this time? It is so hard to watch those we love struggle so much. Not only do we see them hurting, but they wound us too, as well as those closest to them.
