Hi. This is my first post. My wife and I have been together for almost 6 years, married less than a year. I’ve always noticed her reactions being a little extreme. She does not deal with relationships well especially if there’s challenges. We do see a counselor. Me more than her. Lately things have been really tough. And fighting almost every night. Last week I asked for some space. For her to stay somewhere else for a little while until tensions calm down. And that sent her in a complete tailspin. I don’t know how to get the anger to stop and be able to express how much I love her I just can’t handle the fighting all of the time. Please help.

HiTheBestLife,

Id like to join heartnwhole and welcome you to the family. I’m sorry that you’re going through this. I can understand how distressing it feel le when there is conflict everyday especially when it’s not in your nature. You’ve come to the right place. I notice that you take the lead by going to a T, I’d suggest instead of asking her remove yourself from the situation until things can calm down, can you run an errand, go to the gym, go out with friends etc... .? Can you come up with things to do to get out for a little while?
