I’ve just learned that it’s true. Our marriage counselor told me in a private session 18 months ago that she thought my wife has BPD. She gave me a book and a few articles to read. Anyway, I have come here looking for support. This is tough. We have currently been separated for 6 weeks. Trying to make it through.

Hi iloveher1000 and welcome to the family! Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

I'm so sorry for what you're going through but I'm glad you found us. We're a supportive group here and we get it. We've been (or still are) where you are. If you need tips or advice, we can give that. If you just need someone to listen, we can do that too.

Relationships with pwBPD (people with BPD) are very difficult and draining, as I'm sure you know.

I hope you don't mind my asking a few questions, but the more we know, the better we can help you. You say you've been separated for 6 weeks. Is this your first separation or has it happened before? What precipitated the separation?
