I have read some very troubling posts lately concerning physical abuse from male SO s.

Having been through a physically abusive relationship as a teen ager I feel very strongly about this subject... .

My current uBPDbf has physically restrained me once or twice and for me this is a boundary I refuse to budge on... .  Although I was not hurt, I was scared and intimidated knowing that he could hurt me if he wanted to... .

We are currently taking a break but I have made it very clear if he lays his hands on me again it is over for good and I mean it!

I am very concerned about the level of violence that some of our members are allowing in their relationships... .

I understand they love these men, they don't need to try to convince me of that... .  I get it, but I also know how ones tolerance of abuse can get to very unhealthy levels...

I hope some other members can offer some supportive advice to help these ladies set firmer boundaries and get this violence out of their lives!

With love and concern,

Domestic violence is a serious problem.  We have a workshop for women struggling with Domestic Violence.

This is also not just a problem for women, we also have a workshop for Men Responding to Domestic Violence.
