Emotional Deprivation Disorder

Hello

I came across with a question and would like to share some thoughts.

I did some research and found the definition of "Emotional Deprivation Disorder". Living with a BPD better half has made some behaviours of mine more obvious since his personality is sometimes agressive. I was wondering if it is possible the experience of living with a BPD can make someone develop this king of disorder or if interacting can make something one has always had to come out in the open.

Hi Fallingskies

This is a term developed by a single researcher (or possibly two people jointly). Tewes, I believe is one of the names. You can find their books by googling. It is not in the DSM AFAIK, and seems to have a lot of overlap with conditions that are. I read one of the books and while some of it seemed useful, I think I'd prefer to go with existing terminology myself, if only so that I can talk with everybody else.
