Subtle yet effective

So I'm assuming, that a certain instant messaging program stores a person's blocked contacts on a central server. Well most do this, if not all, I'm almost sure this one does, if so, I see her, online right now... . I know this pattern, I'm sure I've read it a zillion times on these forums... .

I'm a little confused by your post.
Are you saying that you are able to watch what she's doing on line?

No, I'm saying that I'm assuming if you block someone, that information is stored centrally in a server, so no matter where you sign on from, be it cell phone, home computer, public computer, the fact that you blocked someone stays constant. I'm assuming this is, for most instant messaging services, she went online last night, that means I was unblocked.

I haven't seen her online since, why would she just pop up online for a few minutes one day?
