controlling everything she can

My stbexBPDw is trying to control our lives. She has not been an active parent ever. I still allow her to stay in our house when she comes to visit (for financial reasons) but she trys to change everything. She rearranges my kitchen tries to take mail that is not hers and tells the children to ignore my rules if she thinks Im wrong. Todayshe tried to put an app on the daughters phones to be able to control them too. When I told her I did not agree and thought it was to extreme for our girls she got mad and tried to fource the app. I try to co parent but this is getting out of hand. Any advise besides get her out of your house would be welcome.

Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Just out of curiosity - why not have her do visitation somewhere else?

She lives in another state and has to fly in every few weeks to visit. She drives my jeep and stays in my guest room to save about 1000 per month. She makes the majority of the income and out of respect I have not banished her yet. On top of that the daughters are afraid to be left alone with her for too long.

Is this a temporary arrangement?

I am trying to make it temporary but it is complicated. I know it has bad idea writen all over it. Like most as long as she is getting her way we are safe. I tell the kids as well as myself it is only three days. We can play nice that long. Plus I send her out from the house as much as possible. The lawyer is working to cover my ___ and says play along till he says jump.
